ID: manual   Status: Available

Traditional reforestation using hand-planted seedlings by field crews, typically with some degree of mechanical site preparation. This is the most established method with the longest track record of outcome data.

ID: drone_seeded   Status: Available

Aerial dispersal of seed pods or seedling capsules via autonomous or remotely-piloted drones. A newer method offering advantages in speed and access to difficult terrain, with different survival characteristics than manual planting.

ID: direct_seed   Status: Coming soon

Ground-level seed broadcast without drone assistance — hand-spread or machine-distributed. Prediction support for this method is under development.

ID: natural_regeneration   Status: Coming soon

Unassisted forest recovery from existing seed sources. A fundamentally different model from active planting — predicting whether a site will regenerate rather than whether planted trees will survive.
